Finding Treasure...

In my Nana and Papa's backyard, my cousins and I found some hidden treasures!

Ian, Noah and I are digging to find the treasure.
Oh wow! Look at everything we found. Plastic lizards, pennies, marbles, nuts, seeds and shells. I wonder how they got there?
Ian and Noah trying to dig up a large root to a tree... good luck!

Canoe Trip...

or according to my Uncle Ben..."survival trip"
It started off fun! We were all so excited! Aunt Amy bought us fishing nets... we were ready to go!
Here I am in Uncle Ben or Uncle Tim's kayak. Don't worry, I am just pretending... my mommy really didn't let me go out on my own!
Here we are! There were 3 canoes and 2 kayaks. Only one canoe tipped over but we won't say which one, right Aunt Amy? After the first hour, everyone was more than ready to go home. Sadly the trip lasted 2-1/2 hours! I was bored... just sitting in the canoe doing nothing! I wanted to row, but mommy said I wasn't allowed. The water was VERY shallow so I kept feeling the rocks beneath the boat. PLUS after the Hurricane wind storm... many trees and branches were in the water. We had to get out of the boats and carry them over some trees. Then my mommy got stung by a bee on her wrist. She cried it hurt so much! Poor mommy. Don't worry she is ok now.
We got out of the boats for a while to try to catch some fish. Aunt Sally got one, but we had to let him go. We didn't know that would be the only fish we would catch!
It was an experience... but not one I will repeat anytime in the near future unless I can quit whenever I want to !

Buddy Walk

We joined most of my cousins and aunts and uncle for the Annual Dayton Buddy Walk. Ryan was the star of the show (for us!)

Just me and my cousins ready to walk! "Is this Disney World?" Elinor asked... to save $5000, Aunt Amy said YES, it is! We were SO excited to see some of our favorite princesses!
My cousin Nathan was super excited to see his favs... Star Wars. They scared me!

Go Boilermakers!

My cousins, Aidah and Elinor, came to visit me this weekend. I took them to see Daddy's soccer game. We all got matching Purdue shirts. Here we are saying that Purdue is #1!
Purdue has a little train that picks up and drops off students at the games. We wanted to sit on the train, and the guy said that we could go for a ride if we wanted to!
WHEEEE! What a fun ride around campus!
Here we are with Izzy and Quinn (my friends) next to the train.
Can you tell which one of us is the most tired at this point? Yes, the "most tired person" award changes rapidly with the 3 of us!

Sleep over with Gracie

Gracie spent the night with me because her mommy and daddy had to work out of town. We used my easy bake oven to make flower cookies with sprinkles, played dress up and games, played outside and slept in my house tent. We even did a craft... painting magnet butterflies and flowers. We had so much fun!

Open Tumbling with Gracie

Every Saturday, my gymnastics place (DMG) has an open tumbling. Today my best friend Gracie went with me. We has so much fun! We jumped on the trampoline, hung like monkeys, I practiced hanging upside down on the rings. We practiced cartwheels, Gracie is really good at doing "carpet wheels". I still need to work on them. We jumped in the pit of foam blocks and swung on the climbing rope. After gymnastics we went to Gracie's house for lunch and swimming! I slept 12 hours that night!
