Getting ready to see if Santa came!
Meredith got "scribble me a song" and a chair!
Rebecca got golf clubs, DS game and a monopoly game (not the kiddie kind!)
Christmas night we went to our good friends for dinner... this is what friends are for!
Finally home after a long trip to Ohio (consisting of visiting 4 different groups of people and 3 Christmas') 
Rebecca with her friends Gracie and Maddie... we all played the part of Bethlehem townspeople. 
She couldn't walk in the snow, could barely sit! So she crawled and got a little thirsty so stopped for a lick of snow (I made sure it wasn't yellow!)

See... like I said, she could barely sit up! I think she liked it!

She wanted nothing to do with this until she felt water on her head. From that moment, she wanted to bath in the Holy Water!
The second day we were there, Rebecca opted to go to the craft room instead of swimming. She swam until 9:30 the night before and arts and crafts are her favorite thing to do, so it isn't surprising to hear this request.
Luckily the craft room doubled as a play area as well. Meredith found a lot of new toys to play with and gave us some ideas for Christmas! Check out her boots... are they not the cutest???
Rebecca with "Wolfy". At least I think that is his name. Meredith wouldn't even look at him.
Our hotel room, I mean our cabin. Rebecca was in heaven. Bunk beds, her own private space with TV... but did she actually sleep here, no... why you ask? The wonderful waitress told her that the wolves walk around at night. Thank you ma'am.
Elfie returned to our home this morning. He brought along matching PJ's. Every morning we will look for him. He returns to Santa each night to tell him how certain little girls are behaving, then returns the next day to watch over us again.
Trimming the tree... or taking it down. Who knows with Meredith! We are slowly losing ornaments on the bottom of the tree.
The girls in their new PJ's. Rebecca just got her hair cut... she has been begging for bangs. I finally decided that she was old enough to make that decision and to live with it if she didn't like it. Luckily it looks really cute!
Mental note... DO NOT take Meredith to see the Nutcracker ballet, he scares her!
We met our friends, the Dubin's in Fort Wayne. We took the kids to Science Central. In June we met the Dubins at the airport in Chicago waiting to fly out to China.
They brought along their 6 year old daughter also adopted from China. Mia and Rebecca became best friends immediately. They were so excited to see each other again this past weekend.
Zak was adopted the same day Meredith was. It was so wonderful to how much he has grown in changed in the few months since we have seen him!

Mario (Quinn), Vampire (Izzy), Gnome (Aspen), Snow White (Gracie), Dragon Ninja (Rebecca) and the cutest pumpkin ever (Meredith). We were blessed to have friends come over to trick or treat with us!
Happy Pumpkin! She isn't always this happy, but was anxious to go outside!
